The suction ramp cleaning principle

Hectron automatic self-cleaning filters principle (AG Series and AG Marine Series) :

Filtration. Filtration is done through a multi-layer screen. As soon as the filter screen is clogged, a pressure switch detects the pressure difference between inlet and outlet and starts the cleaning cycle.

Cleaning. Cleaning is performed by means of a suction arm, which does a backwash focused on the arm holes. The arm makes a full rotation and cleans the whole filter screen surface.

Drain. During the cleaning cycle, a solenoid valve is actuated opened and the suspended solids are drained out of the filter.
